I went to a rockin concert this week... My first rock concert! I saw Thrice, Alkaline Trio, and Rise Against... need I say more! I was especally blown away by a cover of Helter Skelter that Thrice did. I hope to see many more shows like this... it was awesome!

Halloween Extravaganza!

Here is my Halloween gang! we had a pretty great time. Our night consisted of a couple dance parties, Village Inn, Curses (the game), and a movie. Lets just say our night did not end at night. I am so glad I got to spend some quality time with my little bro Ethan! He has really turned into a great guy and my best friend. I am tickled every time I get a text from him... which has been quite often! He is such a good guy and I am excited for him to be finishing his papers this week! I know he will be a great missionary. I have hi hopes for him and the things he will achieve. I love you Eth!

I never thought I would say this but... I am really excited to be heading back to Ely, Nevada for a weekend at home. My little bro asked me to come and hence I am able so I am going... Plus I am also anxious to hear from our church leaders.

I was able to spend this weekend with my Lovely Grandma Ann. Although she was occupied with many activities this weekend she made me feel right at home. I just needed to get away... yes already. Grandma Ann was gracious enough to let me stay at her lovely home. Today was great. We spent two of the blocks of church fulfilling her calling as a nursery teacher, then sacrament, and last but not least a lovely home cooked meal. Grandma Ann is the best! Thanks again Grandma!

I love a new haircut. It always makes me feel good. I had to get this cut done because my stylist is having a baby... and will be gone for two months. I always thought people were dumb for only going to the same person for their haircuts, but now I swear by it. I have had way to many bad hair cuts! My stylist Emily can read my mind and is so fast!! Hurrah for good hair!

I am taking a literature and gender class this semester. We are studing women poets and their depressive states. This class has proven to be very interesting. Reading the poetry of Sylvia Plath has helped me to sort out some of the feelings that I have experienced. It is amazing the feelings and reactions literature can achieve. For a little homework assignment I challenge you to read the poem Poppies in October by Sylvia Plath.

The Credit They Deserve

I just wanted to give a shout out to the band Third Eye Blind. I dont think that they are given the credit they deserve. They had some hits in the 90s but I really feel like they are a talented band.... so this is my shout out.... Third Eye Blind rocks my socks off!

Home Sweet Logan

I am now back in Logan and starting a new semester. I am excited for my classes this semester... they all seem great. I am taking plant organizations, architectural systems, literature and gender, Interior Materials, and my interior design seminar. I am also starting a new job with the on campus catering company. I have high hopes for this semester and I am going to work hard and achieve great things. Now that I am back in Logan and have better access to the internet I will be updating my blog alot more so stay tuned and I would love to hear some comments.

Ely Nevada

I am moving home for the summer to work and save money. I will be working for the Bureau of Land Management as a Range technician. Pretty much I will be survey the deseret. Checking vegitation to see if it is suitable for livestock and so forth. I am excited to spend time with my family and hopefully help them with their new log home.

I am still alive. I have been crazy busy. Last week was spring break and I spent it in the metropolis of Ely Nevada. And This week I have been raceing to meet due dates. As many of you know I am preparing for the Sophmore review that is on March 31... approaching quickly. So I just thought I would let you guys see some of my recent projects....

I just finished this project I built this windmill out of legos in 3d using Autocad. I think it is pretty cool. I also made an instruction sheet to show how to put it together.

I heard back from the doctor yesterday on the results of the biopsy taken during the enoscope I had last week. The results are negative... Meaning they didnt find anything. This is both good and bad. They didnt find anything serious but they also didnt find any answers to why I am sick. I dont really know where I am going to go from here. I have an appointment with that doctor Next month and I guess we will just go from there.

Snowing that is. It has snowed alot this winter. I have pretty much pushed a car at least twice a week this month. I have fallen on my rear six times. I am not complaining I would just like to stay warm and dry. I think we are in for a pretty green spring. Till later stay warm and keep your snow boots ready for some action.

For those of you who do not know my heath has not been good lately. I have been miserable for the past 2 months. I am now starting down the road of medical testing.... again. On february 4 I will be having an Endoscopy, to see the statis of my Celiac Spru disease. I would appreciate any prayers you could make on my behalf. I am hanging in there and doing what I can. I know that things will all work out the way that they are supposed to, but in the mean time I will do what I am supposed to do and hopefully I will find out what is wrong with my body and what I can do to fix it. I would like to tell all of you who have and will continue to support me thank you. I dont know where I would be with out you.

Well that concludes my list as it is. I am continually finding new music that I love so there could be some add ons later. I strongly suggest checking out these bands or artists. I love music so much. There isnt a day that goes by that I do not listen to music. Music has such and influence in my life. I think it is important to have an apreciation for all types of music and If you would like to let me know of any music that I just have to listen to I would greatly apreciate it.

The importance of space

I love to be with people and I dont think that I could live alone, but I need my space. I live in a tiny apartment with six other girls. I love these girls they are great people. Last night after living with these girls for eight months I finally blew my top. I have been keeping my feelings and thoughts to myself for the sake of the apartment. I just couldnt do it anymore. I came home from work and said two words and I was yelled at just because of something on the tv. I am a human being who has feelings and a tv can be paused. After this happened I had no where to go... my car is in the shop so a cool down ride was out of the question. So I went up to my shared bedroom and cryed my eyes out because I was so mad. This is such a stupid girl drama thing that I totally hate. Hopefully we will be able to talk things out. I am willing hopefully she is to. All that is needed here is some consideration for others. And I need to have a little more consideration for her.

I made it through the first day of the semester. I am going to have a lot of work in front of me... I am starting 3d drafting on my computer. It is pretty exciting. Today I have the rest of my classes, hopefully they will go well.

The assignment also included partcial construction documents, floor plans, and presentation drawings. I am happy with the outcome of this project. I worked hard and spent countless hours working on it.

I AM NEW AT THIS

I DECIDED THIS MIGHT BE A GOOD VENT FOR ME. AND MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS CAN CHECK UP ON ME AS THE FEEL THE NEED.
THE NEW SEMESTER IS STARTING ON MONDAY... I REALLY HOPE TO HAVE A BETTER SEMESTER. I STRUGGLED IN EVERY WAY POSSIBLE LAST SEMESTER. IN MY HEALTH, WHICH IS NOTHING NEW, IN MY EMOTIONAL STABILITY, AND IN MY FINANCES. ALL OF THESE STRUGGLES INFLUENCED MY ABILITIES IN SCHOOL. I DID MANAGE TO DO WELL ON MY TINY HOUSE PROJECT AND I AM REALLY PROUD OF THE OUTCOME OF THAT. I MANAGED TO DO THIS EVEN THOUGH MY COMPUTER EXPERIENCED MOTHER BOARD FAILURE RIGHT AT THE END OF THE SEMESTER WHEN EVERYTHING WAS DUE. I ALSO MANAGED TO PASS ALL OF MY CLASSES, WHICH I HAVE TO SAY I DID NOT THINK WAS GOING TO HAPPEN. I AM A GOOD STUDENT. I JUST HAD THINGS HAPPEN TO ME THAT WERE OUT OF MY CONTROL AND I AM GLAD THAT I MADE IT THROUGH. I KNOW THAT I WOULD NOT HAVE MADE IT WITHOUT THE PRAYERS OF THOSE WHO LOVE ME. AND THE MANY PANIC FILLED CALLS TO MY DAD AT ALL HOURS... HE IS MY STRENGTH AND HE UNDERSTANDS ME. I COULD NOT HAVE MADE IT WITHOUT MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY PLUS THE DAILY GUIDE I HAVE IN THE GOSPLE. THIS YEAR BRINGS NEW AND EXCITING THINGS. I LOOK FORWARD TO THE CHALLENGES OF THIS YEAR AND THE LEARNING EXPERIENCES. I JUST WANT TO SAY THANKS FOR THE HELP LAST YEAR AND I LOVE YOU.
